2 long established lakes, the larger being approximately 20 acres in size. This mixed fishery contains Roach, Perch, Tench, Bream, Pike & Carp. The smaller of the 2 lakes is 10 acres & again holds a variety of species. Popular with Carp & Pike anglers, there are some 30.lbs+ specimens to be had for the patient angler. This lake was stocked with 600 Carp up to 6.lb in 2006 A further 350.lbs of Carp were stocked in March 2008 to 2.lb. Big Lake, For great Tench fishing in the early season try caster or chopped worm on the pole in pegs 19 to 25 on the big lake. Try hemp & caster up in the shallow water, pegs 1 to 18 for great bags of Roach. If you're looking for the Bream Shoals try pegs 34 to 44, in these deep pegs a groundbait & feeder approach can be very productive. In the colder months sqatt & groundbait fished on light rigs can keep the Roach & Skimmers feeding. Small Lake, For the big Carp try pegs 119 to 122 & fish to the far bank. Tench in the margins over sweetcorn & maggot. There are good Bream to be found in pegs 129 & 130 try the groundbait & feeder approach. DONT FORGET TO LET THEM KNOW WHERE YOU FOUND THEM www.carpinfo.co.uk
